OUR STORY
Hi! I’m Dannon - Owner & Founder of Tap the Coast. I’m a proud native of the Pensacola area, a mother, passionate community volunteer and coffee lover.
I discovered the mobile bar / beverage service industry in 2018 and immediately fell in love with the business model. I searched but was unable to find anything like it in Northwest Florida and saw it as an opportunity to bring a new and exciting concept to the local scene. Added bonus: it combined my love of people and entertaining with creative, Pinterest-worthy designs. So I set out to make this dream a reality.
Our vintage camper debuted in late 2019 as the panhandle’s first mobile bar experience. Launching a business during a pandemic wasn’t exactly the plan I had in mind, but even still we made it through and can look back with gratitude for how far we’ve come. With a little luck, a great network of industry professionals, the best staff a girl could ask for, and the help of an incredible team of business mentors, Tap the Coast has quickly grown to be the largest fleet of mobile bars in North Florida.
The future of Tap the Coast includes additional rental options in a variety of styles to meet the needs of clients’ events large and small - from beaches to barns. We are also looking forward to adding services including cocktail workshops, introducing new retail products and will be expanding our service area in 2022.

THE JOURNEY
Transforming a vintage 1975 Serro Scotty camper into a modern style mobile bar required vision and a lot of work! We photographed the journey from start to finish to tell the story and share our experience. Tap the Coast officially launched November 1, 2019 with our signature bar and things quickly took off from there.
After completing our first build, we decided to step it up a notch and take on yet another challenge converting a horse trailer into a mobile bar with a completely different set up and configuration than the camper. With a clear design plan in mind, we were able to transform the trailer in just 90 days from start to finish. The project was completed in May 2020, just six months after our initial launch. Phase III added the Italian Piaggio and our featured bar rentals - the tap wall and bar cart. There’s more to come for 2022 - stay tuned!
